Do you know that feeling you get when you’re out with your mates on a night out and your favourite song gets played out over the speakers? That’s the feeling I get when I take pictures with my camera. It brings me joy which makes me want to produce great images for your wedding, family or portrait shoot.

This is a quote from one of my favourite films, the John Hughes 80’s classic Ferris Buellers Day Off. I think this describes my joy of making photographs perfectly. My main focus is to capture those fleeting moments, the interactions between you and your partner or between you and your friends and family. I believe it’s these moments that you will look back on that will make you smile.

I’m a sucker for taking unashamedly “arty-farty” portraits. I blame this on my Fine Art degree. I think you’re on to a winner when you can hang a cool picture on your wall that can turn heads.

The job of a photographer is a strange one. Let’s take your wedding day for example. You’re basically hiring a stranger to spend 12 hours with you on one of the biggest days of your lives. If you’re not a lover of having your picture taken (and lets face it, who is!) then choosing the right photographer becomes even more important.

I believe you need a photographer who can get on well with everyone and be sensitive to your needs whilst producing great images. I love photography and I love photographing people. I’m not somebody who will disappear and photograph from the edges, I like to get involved, where appropriate and interact with everyone (bad jokes unfortunately included!).

To capture those genuine moments you need to be as close to the action as possible. With my energy and skill we can work together to create some memorable images.
